Venezia 0-1 Roma Player Ratings: Dybala’s solitary goal gives the away side much needed three points

Stadio Pierluigi Penzo is all drama this Sunday as the host faced Roma in the early fixture. Trailing way behind the European places, coming into the match Roma was surely aiming to continue their revival in Serie A. On the other hand, the host teams are stuck deep in the danger puddle.

With only the Europa League to dream for now, Roma’s priorities might have became short, but the woe of being handed a devastating 3-1 loss in the Coppa Italia campaign by the Rossoneri at San Siro is still fresh.

It was a bittersweet moment for the club for sure as the once-owned-by-Roma striker Tammy Abraham scored two goals in the first half which gave the home club a 2-0 cushion in the first half. Even though Dovbyk got one back, it was all in vain as the full-time saw a 3-1 score, kicking Roma out of the competition.

On the other side, the news are not really delightful. Winless in 2025 so far, the Lagunari are just five points from safety. Made a stunning clearance from the goal line as Roma almost scored from a set piece in the 30th minute.

Looked lively in the first half. He played a big part in the 249 total passes of his team.
