Piers Morgan mocks Chelsea

After the embarrasing loss, Piers Morgan mocked Chelsea after their 5-0 loss against Arsenal. The talkTV host was on talkSPORT on Wednesday morning and was in a joyful mood. He sang the Kai Havertz chant made by the Arsenal fans as the former Chelsea man scored twice on Tuesday night. He said:

“Morning, gentlemen. I want to start with a very serious statement about what happened last night that will resonate with Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans. It is my kind of summary of what I think is the main take away from last night’s game is, and it goes like this. It is a four-line statement, it goes like this: Tsamina mina, eh, eh. Waka waka, eh, eh. £60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again!”

Morgan quickly got into his serious mode and claimed that Arsenal were on track to win the Premier League title this season. He claims that the side has improved drastically this season and they can handle the pressure.

He went on to state that the win over Chelsea should give the players enough confidence and said:

“[In the 2022/23 season], we collapsed about this time last year and the big fear for Arsenal fans this season – when we melted down to Villa and lost to Bayern Munich – the big fear was that we were going right back to where we were last year. I have got to say, the amount of Chelsea fans who sent me choking memes and gifs all week – it’s happening again, all that sort of stuff.”

He added:

“And so I think [during the Chelsea win] every Arsenal fan was absolutely jubilant and rather than continuing to choke after a very difficult week, we rallied back in such spectacular fashion. We gave Chelsea the biggest stuffing we have ever given them in our entire lives and we look absolutely magnificent. Look, we are four points clear of City, right? They have got to catch up. The idea that they are going to get win after win after win in their last six games…”

Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table – clear of Liverpool by three points, but the Reds play against Everton on Wednesday night. They are also four clear of 3rd place Manchester City, who have two games in hand.

Arsenal have a trip across North London this weekend to face Tottenham before they host Bournemouth. They the travel to face Manchester United before taking on Everton at the Emirates on the final day of the season.
